If the dishes are not cleaned, the scale will turn into hard deposits. Fighting her will be much harder. And then it will be necessary to resort even to chemistry. Which is not entirely healthy.

In addition, the scale itself is harmful to the body. Once in the digestive tract along with food, it breaks down and penetrates the blood. After there is a blockage of blood vessels. The formation of kidney stones is not excluded.

Descaling Methods

Before you start cleaning the walls of the dishes, you need to know that enameled and aluminum pans are cleaned differently.

The first enemy of salt deposits on dishes is an acidic environment. How to use it to remove scale in an enameled pan:

  1. Using citric acid - to do this, fill the contaminated dishes with water. Then pour two teaspoons of citric acid into it in a ratio of 1 liter of liquid. Put on fire and boil water. Let it boil for a couple of minutes and turn off the heat. Do not immediately drain the water, leave everything for one hour. Then repeat the procedure.
  2. Descale with vinegar (use vinegar essence only in diluted form). Pour clean water into the dishes. It should be enough to cover the level of scale formation. After add 9% vinegar (1 liter of water - half a glass of essence). Bring the solution to a boil and set aside the dishes. If the scale does not immediately clean, bring the water to a boil again after 30 minutes. When using acetic acid, the room should be ventilated so as not to injure a person’s respiratory tract.
  3. Cucumber pickle or diluted tomato juice helps to cope well. They also have acid. Only such a tool should not be boiled. Pour the brine into contaminated dishes and leave for 24 hours.

After such remedies, the pots should be rinsed well with running water.

Descaling with alkaline products
Baking soda is an economical and good helper. It is necessary to pour soda into a saucepan (100 g. Per 1 liter of liquid), gently rub its walls. The scale will leave a little, the dishes will be more efficiently cleaned. Then pour water into the container to be cleaned and put on fire. As soon as the water boils, tighten the burner, leave to boil for 1.5-2 hours, depending on the amount of scale.

After boiling, drain the dirty water and rinse the pan well under water.

Soda ash is mixed 1: 1 with coffee grounds. Apply this mixture on a dense cloth or cotton pad and wipe the inside of the pan with it. No need to use a dishwashing sponge for cleaning. All contents will seep into its pores and it will be difficult to achieve the desired effect.

Cleaning pots from what's on hand

  1. If a potato or apple peel has gathered in the house, do not rush to throw it away. Oddly enough, but they also have acid. It is she who will help to cope with the scum. Our great-grandmothers also cleaned pans in this way. Clean thoroughly from dirt and pour into a saucepan to the very top. Pour water into them and put on fire. When the liquid boils, leave to boil for half an hour. If the pan is too dirty, repeat the procedure.
  2. Well washed all the scum of all known carbonated drinks. Sprite, Cola and Fanta are particularly effective in dealing with this. They contain phosphoric and citric acids. Having previously removed the gases from the drink, it is poured into a saucepan. Then, over high heat, bring to a boil. As it boils, set aside the dishes and leave the liquid in it for half a day.During this time, the scale will leave.
  3. Plaque from poor-quality water and stains can be removed using bleach for fabrics "White". Pour into a pot of water at 3 liters. water, 100 gr. bleach. Leave for 12 hours. All old stains and scale will quickly be removed. Then wash the pan well and boil clean water in it so that there are no traces of chlorine.
  4. In a 3-liter pan with water add 250 g. glycerin and half a glass of sugar. Boil everything for 10-15 minutes.

  3. Good descaler of onions. It is necessary to peel it from the husk first, otherwise it will stain the dishes. Then cut the onions into four parts, put in a pan with water and boil for one hour.
